It has been operating for a decade now, and works with fair trade suppliers to produce a range of environmentally conscious underwear and basics for men and women, as well footwear (natural rubber thongs/flip flops and organic cotton canvas sneakers).

Founded by two Scandinavian sisters, Woron make everyday essentials like underwear, tops and leggings. The brand emphasises slow fashion and use sustainable materials such as Modal (made from beechwood pulp fibres) and organic cotton.

Lara Intimates

Founded in 2016 by 2 fashion grads from the London College of Fashion, who set out to do something about the negative impact fashion often has on people and the planet.

LARA hand-make their garments in their own factory in London, using luxurious surplus fabrics leftover from large factories or brands. (These materials would otherwise go to waste.)

LARA aim to empower and celebrate women, by making garments that fit and flatter, and provide opportunities to female makers in London.

Luva Hava's feminine and pretty collection of lingerie and loungewear are handmade in Brighton, UK.

The label embraces slow fashion by only keeping a small amount of stock on hand at a time, and uses natural, eco-friendly materials such as bamboo, hemp, organic cotton, soy and tencel. Limited edition ranges are also made uses end of line and off cut fabrics.

Naja

Naja are an eco-friendly, vegan lingerie label with a strong social conscience.

They empower marginalised women by employing primarily single mothers and female household heads in their garment factory - providing them with above-market wages, healthcare benefits, flexible working arrangements and even school supplies for their children.

Naja also have an Underwear For Hope program, that provides Columbian women in remote areas with jobs, where they can work from home to sew the lingerie wash bags included with each Naja purchase. 2% of Naja’s revenue is then reinvested back into these communities by donating to local female education charities.

This brand is planet-friendly too, as it uses digital printing to reduce water wastage, and sources fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles as well as organic cotton.
